Gifting Options

For more than 75 years, the CDGA Foundation programs have utilized the game of golf to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of individuals. This would not have been possible without the generosity of the individuals who contribute and donate to the Foundation. There are several options you can consider when making a gift to our Foundation and here is a partial list:

Direct Donation

You can make a gift directly to our Foundation. This gift can be a one-time donation, or you can make it recurring monthly, quarterly, or annually. CLICK HERE to learn more and start the process

Planned Giving

Your gift will provide the Foundation with the ability to continue our legacy into the future and will allow you to meet your personal and philanthropic goals. Here are some of the planned gifts for you to consider and discuss with your trusted professional advisor:

Appreciated Securities

IRA Distribution

If you are older than 70½, you can gift your distribution to the CDGA Foundation. CLICK HERE for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is my donation to the CDGA Foundation tax-deductible?

A: Yes, it is. The Foundation is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization so all donations are tax-deductible. Our Federal Tax ID Number is 36-2374223.

Q: How does the CDGA Foundation utilize my donation?

A: The CDGA covers most of the Foundation administrative and staff costs so the vast majority of your donation goes directly to the programs for veterans, individuals with special needs, and youth golf.

Q: Can I designate where I want my gift to be used?

A: Yes, you have the option of designating which program would benefit from your gift. While making your gift, in the comments/notes section, please indicate: General, Veterans, Special Needs or Youth OR contact the CDGA Foundation staff at 630-685-2313.
